Alex Prager is a prominent artist whose work is displayed at galleries and museums around the world. Her most recent show, Play the Wind, is a multimedia experience that utilizes a variety of mediums and techniques, including film, print, and photography.
She makes her films using traditional methods: shot largely in-camera, with practical effects and close collaboration across post. She's open to new technology, but not when it gets in the way of the work. Play the Wind is her most personal film, and it took a big crew to make: composers, set and costume designers, VFX artists, and more.

Dropbox was a key part of her studio process, giving everyone one place to share files and rough cuts and keep her whole team in sync as the film came together.
