Joyce Ho is one the sharpest hands working in motion design, a field that includes the animated title work that opens films and TV shows.
When Semi Permanent, an international design festival, asked Ho to create the opening titles for its flagship Sydney event, she started the way she always does: with a huge brain dump of ideas.
She built that out in Dropbox, dropping in words, photos, illustrations, video, even a Spotify track, until one doc held the whole concept. From there, Dropbox became the place to loop in collaborators, gather feedback, and plan the schedule, so everyone could watch the piece take shape and build on each other's ideas. Creativity snowballed, and the finished sequence wowed the crowd in Sydney.
