Scottish photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri made his directorial debut at Sundance with The Moment, a mockumentary about Charli xcx’s Brat tour. He collaborated with A.G. Cook and Charli xcx on the music video “Residue” that scored the film. Their goal? To capture the essence of the legendary tour in a more elemental, less narrative way.

"Sharing stuff with the world always feels like you’re kind of giving it away…I like the bit where we get to hide in a cave and make it all in secret.”

Dropbox and Dropbox Replay helped Zamiri and his team of dispersed creative collaborators dial in a visual language even when they weren’t in the same place. They shared visual elements, like on-screen graphics designed by Studio Special Offer, gave feedback, sent variations of sequencing, and stayed aligned creatively to keep things moving.
